USE OF THE GREAT-SWORD ON THE BRIDGES
AND IN THE NARROW ALLEYS
“…there is no fencing stroke that is not adapted to the art of the greatsword…”
So Francesco Alfieri talks in particular about how to use the greatsword in the alleys, straits and on bridges.
He then goes on to say: “And I take it for granted that it is of great advantage to assault”
So it is clear that giving no way to the opponent to be able to have the initiative is very important.
In this workshop we will show how to develop correct body motor skills to make moulinets, cuts, points and changes of direction suitable for extricating oneself in this type of scrum, without the opponent being able to actively oppose it.
Massimiliano Cecchinato, with the help of Andrei Xuereb and Fausto Lusetti, presents: The art of well handling the greatsword. To you!
